Quick recap of our Skål Montreux adventure in Lavaux: the weather wasn’t ideal, but the mood more than made up for it!
We boarded the panoramic train in Chexbres and made our way through rain-kissed vineyards to Vinorama. A short film gave us a glimpse into the life of local winemakers, followed by some excellent Grand Cru tastings, a solid cheese-and-meat platter… and Romain’s surprise magic trick that definitely made some corks pop (metaphorically).
Afterwards, the train took us back to Chexbres – a bit wetter, but definitely happier. Some of us kept the party going with fondue at Café de la Poste, because hey, that’s how we roll.
